During the past twelve years, Puan Rohani, the Centre Administrator has been a key figure in her community for years of experience and involvement in upgrading the status of single women and children in the community of Penang especially in Balik Pulau.
The main purspose for the establishment of the Centre or House of Hope is to alleviate some of the escalating socio-economic issues and problems arising from large numbers of single parents.
